Introduction to algorithms and data structures

Algorithms and data structures are the lifeblood of computers. They are the translation between what we perceive in the world outside computers into the ones and zeroes that make up all computing this far.

In this workshop we’ll provide an introduction to basic algorithms, data structures and algorithmic thinking. The goal of the workshop is to build holistic knowledge about programming and computers that is common to all kinds of programming, be it the latest JavaScript web implementations or some hardware specific low level language.

There’s no prerequisites for attending the workshop – though you’ll most likely get most out of it if you have written some code in the past. We’ll be doing hands-on exercises together and you can ask any questions you may have during the day.

See you at the workshop!
