Heta Joutsiniemi

Hi I’m Heta. I like games and computers, and fluffy animals. I’ve studied math, computer science and Japanese, and around five years ago I landed my first job as a software developer. I love my job, and the satisfaction you get when solving problems of different magnitude. I also like to advocate that neither math nor programming are rocket science. Even though, in practice, I think both are used for rocket science. It just takes practice!

Vadim Liman

I am Vadim, I work as a Software Developer in Advertiser Dashboards team at Unity. I am a Full stack developer specialized on developing services and user interfaces using modern technologies and frameworks. Coding is a great opportunity to show your creativity and bring your ideas to life. Eventually, when people start using your product and like it – it makes you happy as well. It also gives you an opportunity to negotiate with people by being a part of the team, to learn from them how to behave in certain situations. And it’s not restricted to development world only – it’s useful and helpful in your daily life. I also love football and hard rock!

Joona Rahko

I have been doing software development for 7 years and have worked with React since 2014. I like attending and speaking in web related events.

Ehsan Afzali

I’m Ehsan. I was always interested in computers and figuring out how they work, so started learning programming in elementary school as a hobby and after graduating in Software Engineering started my career as a Full Stack Developer and had a lot of fun with JavaScript. But after a while I found myself intrigued by all the challenges of distributed computing, leaned toward backend development and Go Programming Language, helped different startups with their scalability issues, and ended up working as a Backend Developer in Unity Ads Delivery team in which we are dealing with more than 50K requests per second.

Firat Salgür

I am Firat, originally from Turkey, moved to Finland a little over 2 years ago specifically to work in Unity. I work with the dashboards and tools team to help building tools for mobile game advertisers and account managers to get their work done. At work, I mostly specialize in backend technologies as well as overall web technologies. In my free time, I work on low level systems, graphics and various tools programming. I like coding because it is a meditative experience where you think about solving a problem, and expressing the solution logically, clearly, and beautifully into a both machine and human understandable language. It is like a fun game and a craftsmanship whose tool is language. And you get to create something that yourself or others can enjoy or benefit from in their lives.
